Over the last number of years I have been following a number of blogs mainly Messianic Jewish blogs. I have really enjoyed them and I encourage you to read some of them yourselves. They are linked  at the side. But as we all know blog land can sometimes be a very aggressive and confrontational place. At the beginning of this year a number of bloggers posted about ethics and attitude in blogging and a new way of moving forward. Derek Leman in his bloge Messianic Jewish Musings wrote “Isn’t 2010 a good time for all of us to grow in our ethic of treating one another in conversation?” He also wrote “I will seek to correct others gently, patiently, and if possible to avoid embarrassing, privately.” What great pieces of advice. Others blogers like Judah Gabriel at Kineti L’Tzion and JudeoXian have also made mention of this. On top of these blogs at Church on Sunday evening was about doing things with the right attitude and doing things in humuility. So let this new year be a year where when we speak no matter what we have to say that we say it with love and when we do things that we do it with God’s power.

Many blessings on your new blogging endeavor. Be patient and don’t give up. An audience comes in time.

The best thing about blogging is it makes you write, study, and grow.

When you get a post up with your thoughts about something you care about, let me know by email and I’ll link to it.
